MERGING projects into one spreadsheet gives you the ability to filter and search for data across whatever projects you select.   You can of course, export this merged spreadsheet to MS Excel and tweak it there as well to generate various reports.

Here’s an example of how it works:

1)    Select a manufacturer from the Project Filters on the left.

2)    Sort the projects that remain by Modified Date by clicking on the Modified Date column header.

3)    Select the projects you want from that date range (holding the Shift key and using the down arrow key)

4)    Right-click the selected rows and select the “Merge with Vendor Filter” option.

This takes all the selected projects, merges them into a single project that contains only the items from the Manufacturer you selected in step 1.

Depending on how many projects you selected this can take a few minutes to process.   There are a variety of combinations you can create to merge projects (with and without filters).  So feel free to experiment with this feature.  Your original projects remain untouched.
