Software Update crashes while generating PDF quote. I've now gone onto several machines and have the same experience. Running Lion OS X7.2
You need to make Software Updates optional. When there is a new version with issues, we can pop over to another machine, opt-out, and proceed to quote until help arrives.

We are testing this on our Mac machines here, and not getting those results. Are you using Adobe Reader X?
It's also strange that others in your office are having the same issue. Are you getting an error message?

Permalink Reply by Karl Williams on January 17, 2012 at 10:54am Yes, adobe X does not play well with AQ360 on Mac machines....I would suggest that you rollback your latest Adobe update or reinstall Adobe Reader 9.xx (or equivalent.)
Permalink Reply by Bill Rzasa on February 13, 2012 at 1:24pm Only answer is to remove all traces of Acrobat Pro X. Easy enough because Adobe leaves previous versions intact and has it's own "uninstall" application. The problem however is some of the Adobe Plug-ins get overwritten and you can't get these back. The last one I can't figure out is that I lost the "Print to Adobe PDF" option under the Print dialog.
But AQ360 works fine with Acrobat 9.5. For anyone thinking of upgrading to Acrobat X, if you are a power user of Acrobat like I am and use this extensively to mark-up manufacturer drawings, Don't Upgrade. Previously easily accessible tools like Measurement and Zoom are so hidden Acrobat X is not a productive tool. The other thing I've noticed is that X doesn't play well with documents created in older versions, especially when reading in Reader X. It forces the document creator to make special document accessibility settings. Basically Adobe's way of saying "Pay Me" by removing features from a program which has been free since 1993.

I use a FREE app called AppCleaner thats does a great job removing programs.
It also lets you select plugins and widgets to remove instead on manually searching them.
You can get it here http://freemacsoft.net
